Aussie Success at 2014 Fitness Universe WeekendĀ
Congratulations are in order for the outstanding team of Australia athletes that competed in the Fitness Universeā¢ Weekend in Fort Lauderdale Florida. The show attracts some of the finest Natural Bodybuilders, Figure Athletes, Physique, Model and Bikini competitors from across the world. Letās take a look at some of the results.
Melissa Darmawan collected a 4th place award in the Model Universeā¢ against a line up of 48 of the worlds finest competitors. Jacquii Alexander took first place in the Bikini Universeā¢ Classic Category adding to her
illustrious list of achievements under the Musclemania Banner.
Simone Monique made her debut in the Figure Category and captured an impressive 2nd place award in the Open Figure Class. Simone looks to have found her new calling in the Figure class and will be competing in the 2014 Figure Australia looking to earn Pro Status.
2013 Musclemania Australia Physique winner Byron Sakha did amazing things in both the Model and Physique Class. He collected 2nd place in the Model Universeā¢ Category against a strong line up of models from across the globe. He then hit the Tall Physique Category and collected 3rd place in this class, both outstanding results for his debut on the International stage.
Next up were our two representatives in the Pro Ranks Tammie SarkozyĀ and Sasho Ognenovski. This was Tammieās debut in the Pro Figure Division after earning her Pro Status in 2013 at the Figure America. Tammie brought her all time best condition to the Universe stage and it paid off big time as she was awarded 1st Place in the Figure Universe Pro Division.
Sasho Ognenovski hit the stage in the Musclemania Pro Tall Category earning 6th place against a tough line up of athletes. Sasho always brings his best to the stage and presents himself in a very professional manner.
Natural Bodz would like to congratulate this group of amazing athletes that did both themselves and Australia proud on the Universe Stage.
Musclemania Australia is the qualifying event for this show and the Fitness America Weekend in Las Vegas, join us over the 19-20th September on
Queenslandās Gold Coast to find out who will take out top honours and earn Pro Status in this years event.
