Years in the fitness industry:
This will be my 2nd year competing in fitness modeling. Having more experience and getting good feedback from the last year I am looking forward to the 2013 ANB and expect to see a lot more of me 🙂

What made you get into fitness modeling?
I have always been into fitness and keeping fit. When my partner did a bodybuilding competition I saw all the fitness models and thought it would be something I could see myself doing.I train hard at the gym so I want to be able to show that hard work off. When my partner decided on doing the ANB Asia Pacific Championships in 2011 I was up for the challenge and I new that was the beginning of my fitness modeling journey.

Competition titles/achievements:
6th in the 2013 ANB Asia Pacific Fitness Model Championships.
7th in the 2012 ANB Asia Pacific Fitness Model Championships.

What type of diet do you follow leading into a fitness modeling event?
I follow the rules of the paleo diet mostly, I do add in whey protein during the day and I make sure I have casein protein before bed. My meals are spread out throughout the day eating around every 2hrs to keep my metabolism going and energy levels up.

How many days a week do you train and what do you feel is more important when it comes to achieving a fitness model body, weight training or cardio?
I think that both weigh training and cardio is important to achieve a fitness model body. I train weights 5-6 times a week and with cardio I do about 50mins 5 times a week. When I am competing I would normally do around 50mins twice a day.

How has fitness changed your life?
Fitness has always been a big part of my life, with team sports such as netball, basketball, touch as well as running and doing the odd triathlon. Fitness modeling has helped educate me on nutrition and how great the benefits are of a
fitness lifestyle.

Future goals in the fitness industry?
I will continue to improve both at the gym as well as on stage. I would love to represent the fitness industry and travel to America and compete at the Musclemania Fitness America Weekend.
